HI,

The recipe looks tempting. I would like to give you all a small tip. Fry and cook bhindi in some oil before you add it to the gravy or masala. This way the bhindi and your preparation doesnt become soggy and sticky like it does when you cook it along with the masala.

Ankur,
Try to cut bhindi into thin slices, and as per my above tip, heat some oil in a wok and fry bhindi, stirring continously on a low-medium flame while you prepare for the masala/gravy in the mean time. Fry in batches, should take around 15 minutes if bhindi is tender. Prepare the masala on the other stove and then add the fried bhindi to it. This way your dish would be prepared in less time.

Hello!
I am cooking this recipe as I write this comment....Just wanted to get an idea of how much time it takes for the bhindi to cook. I am currently in the USA and bhindi takes at least 30 mins to cook! Do all who tried to cook take the same amount of time...? Thanks!
